Meet Monte, our beloved Welsh Terrier.
Born on August 9th, 2009, Monte has been a huge part of our lives.
He's traveled across North America with us (He's got his own passport!), he's been to Memphis, Nashville, Tupelo, and Clear Lake, Iowa (Buddy Holly's last conert and final flight). He's been to Mount Rushmore and the Crazy Horse monument. He attended our wedding at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas (and got himself a VIP limousine ride!). He checked out the Grand Canyon and Route 66. He's swum in the ocean in Florida and the Great Lakes in Ontario, and has accompanied us to many, many performances throughout Canada and the U.S.
He loves to swim, roll in the sand, chase balls, and play his squeeky toys when John's recording songs in his studio. (John doesn't notice, 'cause he's got his headphones on. He doesn't hear it until the playback!)
Monte's a gentle soul who loves to visit with people and animals alike. He's especially fond of little white dogs!
He is getting a little long in the tooth (Almost 15 years old in 2024), but he still loves to travel and hang out with us, and we love him with all our hearts, and hope to spend a lot more time together!
